Don died November 7, 1994 at his home in San Francisco surrounded by his nearest and dearest. He was much loved and respected at his Temple where he had been President and led the diverse and inclusive congregation through a difficult time of transitioning to a new facility. I only learned of his death a decade later and contacted his rabbi.
Thank you Willard for posting this info about Don. I knew him rather well as a youngster at Mt. Hebron, and he lived close to the school and to me. He was a quiet, sensitive kid. We spent some time together goofing around as kids, and he was a very cerebral and nice guy.
I remember Don from our Mt Hebron and MHS days. He was always smiling and so friendly, and so very smart! The world has lost a very special person, and at much too young an age. Thanks for always making me smile, Don!
