BARTRON STEPHEN V. BARTRON Passed away on January 1, 2009 at Alexandria Hospital. Memorial services to be held at Arlington National Cemetery, March 11, 2009 at 11 a.m. sharp. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Steve's death from Susan Marano's notice. Sadly, Steve and I had lost touch for several years. We had been good friends since MHS days. He was a lieutenant at Fort Dix getting ready to leave the army while I was there in basic training. Steve had lived in Alexandria Virginia since the 1970's. We had both worked for the same subsidiary of Exxon at the same time. He had marketed products and services to the federal government. Steve was also an organizer of charity balls in Washington, D.C. which I attended and were a lot of fun. I'll miss Steve and his joie de vivre.
