My fondest memories of Rich were during our junior high years at Mt. Hebron, hanging out with Denise DeMartin, Lorraine (Pudgy) Lavoy, and Rich. I remember him as a real jokster with an infectious smile. He could be quite silly but very funny! I also remember summers at the Bradford Pool with him and Patty Lennox. They were both great swimmers and on the swim team. (I spent my time on the tennis courts!) I know Denise kept up her close friendship with Rich and for many years would share holidays with him and his family..
I remember Rich from swim team practices. He swam with me in high school and we rode together. He was a real funny fun loving guy... a good swimmer too. Patience
Rich and I were on the Bradford Swim Team's IM relay team. He shaved his body to cut down resistence. He did always have an infectious smile and had a great sense of humor. He made everything we did fun. I'm sorry he's no longer with us.
