I am deeply saddened by the news of Willard's passing. He was a classmate since kindergarten and always a smart, kind and thoughtful person. My deepest sympathy to his family. His passing is surely a great loss to all.
Agree 100% with Barb. Very smart, and wise from a young age. In retrospect and in the best sense I think of Willard as having a lot of "Mr. Rogers" in him. I have memories of him determinedly sticking-up for the little guy. Had been in touch with him in another forum a few years back and he seemed as kind and thoughtful as ever. On the wings of angels.

Willard was that kind gentle soul I remember well. I will cherish his yearbook sentiments to me.
