Sandy and I kept in contact for many years while he went to Princeton to get his architect's degree and when he and his wife, Noreen moved to Miami.  We visited with them a  number of times and enjoyed each visit. He had his own small architectural firm in Miami and was always ready to bring his family to Disney World to meet me and my family.

Sandy was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 1993 and finally lost his battle in December of 2000.

Sandy and I started dating at the end of our senior year in high school and continued freshman and sophomore years while he went to Dartmouth and I was at UMass.  We totally lost touch after college and I always wondered how he was doing.  I guess I always figured I would see him again and when I heard about the reunion, I just assumed this would be my chance...to find out if his life had turned out the way he had hoped and dreamed it might.  Thank you Guy, for filling in some of the missing pieces.  I am so sad that I will not be seeing him again.  Besides being my "first love", we shared so many wonderful, fun times together (plus of course all of the traumas of early college life!).  Through it all, Sandy was my rock...Sandy was just honest, sweet and always there for me.  He will be dearly missed.
