Jeff was a good friend all through high school. I can't even remember how we became friends at that point in our lives, but we kept in touch after high school. Jeff spent freshman year at U Va. but found it to be too much of a party school and transferred to Georgetown. My last memory of him was when I visited him one day while he was a student at Gerogetown. I had come down for the day from Hood College, and we spent the day going all around the Georgetown area of DC. Sadly, it was the last time I ever saw him. Jeff's family experienced a lot of tragedy. Conincidently, my brother Frank and Jeff's younger brother Tim have remained lifelong friends.
Jeff had a kind gentle soul, but, he had a great hardy laugh! I always enjoyed walking with him. I am sorry he could not make our 25th reunion, and he will be missed again.
Jeff was my best friend in Junior HS and MHS. He was a great athlete, probably the most naturally gifted athlete I ever knew. We spent a lot of time after school shooting baskets in his backyard. I remember him coming out of nowhere to make the basketball team and playing well at both schools. He was also a caring person and an excellant student. I remain deeply saddened by his early death.
