Our condolences to the family of Peter Carland.

Peter’s surviving wife Carol remarked the following:

“I did not know Peter until we met in 1990 in Rhode Island, but we had a wonderful, fun (sometimes a bit crazy) loving relationship and were married in 1995.  I had also moved to Rhode Island from New Jersey, so there was a natural kinship.  I know he had great affection for Montclair and his school days.  He was also proud of his two years of service in the U.S. Navy, where he learned electronics and then founded his own communications company.

He had two grown children and six grandchildren, and his brother Richard also lives in Narragansett, RI.  Peter was a marvelous stepfather to my children and grandchildren and all expressed their love by attending his services.  He was buried with military honors at the RI Veterans’ Cemetery in Exeter, RI.”
