Elaine and I sat a couple seats apart in Madrigals, what great memories. Elaine had a beautiful voice and sang a solo in the 1963 Christmas Concert. She was quiet with a very gentle soul. So sad to learn of another classmate gone.
I remember Elaine well, and fondly. We were good friends. She had a beautiful singing voice - we performed together in the school talent show - she sang "Somewhere" from "Westside Story" and I played the piano. I also played viola at her wedding for which she paid me $5.00 - the first money I ever earned as a professional musician, I've never forgotten it. So sorry she's gone. - Cathy Hall Schor
