
John Dennis Morton of Little Falls passed away Friday, June 3, 2016.
Born in Glen Ridge, he resided in Montclair and Little Falls his entire life. Mr. Morton was a bartender at Bella Italia Restaurant, Orange, NJ for the last ten years. Previously he worked in corporate America. He was an avid sports fan, especially a fan of the NY Giants and the NY Yankees. In his college years he was a Little League coach for the Montclair Jacobsen Giants and also played minor league baseball in Montclair. Animal rescue was a very important part of his life.
John was a parishioner of St. Cassian R.C. Church, Upper Montclair. He was predeceased by his parents, William J. Morton, Sr. and Rose (nee Apito); and his brother, William Morton. He is survived by his wife, Angela Minutella Morton; his brother, Robert M. Morton of Montclair; several cousins; and his buddy Jack.

I remember John as being funny and a caring person. He used to drive Chenzie and I to school our junior year in his Chevy- stick on the column with one hand and a cigarette in the other. Wish I had the opportunity to see him before he passed.
